IPDC & Youth Opportunities launch AMAR GHOR, AMAR BAGAN contest

Intending to put ecosystem restoration on a pedestal, largest opportunity discovery platform for youth, Youth Opportunity, and country’s first private sector non-banking financial institution IPDC Finance jointly initiated a contest for the home gardening enthusiasts, who have nurtured nature in their vicinity, their home.

On the occasion of World Environment Day 2021, ``AMAR GHOR, AMAR BAGAN’’ contest calls out passionate nature lovers to share the picture and stories behind their home garden, said a media release on Saturday.

The competition allows participants to share the story and passion for their built garden, indoor, balcony, rooftop, or lawn while inspiring hundreds of youths to take up the activity as a hobby, which will restore the balance of nature. 

Bangladeshi people aged between 18-55 years old living in the country or abroad are eligible to participate in the contest, the release said.

Participants are asked to take an aesthetic picture of their home garden and share their profile in a public setting with an inspiring caption with the hashtag #AmarGhorAmarBagan #WED2021.

It said, once shared on the profile, participants need to register their submission in the link given:  https://host.youthop.com/wed2021/.

Winners will be selected on the effort and aesthetic aspect of their home garden and the caption that should be inspiring for youths to take up such a sustainable habit in their lifestyle.

Besides, attractive prizes, three top winners will be featured in the leading newspaper of the country. All eligible participants will receive an e-certificate, added the release.
