Kolkata: Legendary musician Sandhya Mukherjee has been infected by Coronavirus. She was shifted from Government SSKM Hospital to Apollo Hospital on Thursday (January 27). A 5-member medical team has been formed for her. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is always keeping abreast.
On Thursday afternoon, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee went to the government hospital to see Mukherjee. Mamata could not go forward due to corona. After seeing her, the Chief Minister went out and had a meeting with the director of the hospital. She also had a meeting with the medical team. Mamata also talked to the singer's daughter Soumi Sengupta.
After leaving the hospital, the Chief Minister said that the singer has been suffering from corona. She was then taken to Apollo Hospital. Apollo Hospital authorities said she also had cardiac problems. At the same time, the infection of Covid has spread to the lungs. The artist also has anemia.
