According to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the average life expectancy of women in Bangladesh is four years longer than that of men.

According to an annual report of the organization, the average life expectancy of women in Bangladesh is 75 years. The average life expectancy of men is 71 years. The average life expectancy of women is four years more than that of men in this country. According to this report, the population of Bangladesh is 16 crore 63 lakhs. The report also highlights statistics on women's education and rights in Bangladesh.

It is further stated here that only 75% of the world's women enjoy legal benefits compared to men. No country in the world has been able to ensure gender equality as a whole. If equality was ensured, there would be no violence against women and girls, there would be no pay inequality, there would be no inequality in leadership, there would be no lack of physical freedom.

According to the report on women's education in Bangladesh, 95 percent of children of school age are eligible to go to school. And among the age group suitable for going to secondary school, this rate is 72 percent. However, 59 percent of teenagers get married before the age of 18. And 29 percent of women were tortured by their husbands.

In the report, the organization has given special importance to women's rights over the body. How much control a woman has over her own body depends on how much control she has over other areas of life, the report said. They also mentioned that there are many ways to ignore the issue of women's rights on the body of women around the world.
