Around Tk four crore were looted from private commercial Dhaka Bank's Bongshal branch vault.
Bank authority has handed over two of its officials to the police suspecting their alleged involvement in the looting on Thursday night.
Bongshal police station sub-inspector Masum Billah confirmed the matter to journalists on Friday (June 18).
Bongshal police station officer-in-charge (investigation) Md Rezaul said detainees were sent to the court. A case will be filed in this regard. Later, it will be shifted to the ACC and the anti graft body will investigate the matter.
