Analysts believe that the video of Sahinuddin murder in the capital Pallabi is being promoted as a video of the murder of Jatan Shah in Noakhali, which is provoking communal attacks in the country.
It is learned that on May 19 this year, the miscreants brutally hacked to death father Sahinuddin in front of a child on the side of the road in Pallabi. When a video of Sahinuddin's murder went viral on social media, the RAB arrested the killers, including former MP MA Awal, who had ordered the killing on May 20.
After the incident of insulting the Holy Quran in Cumilla caused tension in different parts of the country, many people are posting the video of Sahinuddin's murder on social media and promoting it as the video of Jatan Saha's murder in Noakhali. The law-enforcement forces said that the devout Muslims of the country are getting confused due to this.
They said that by spreading old videos and photos through social media, a section of people are trying to put the government in embarrassment and fuel communal riots in the country. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that these people will be identified and brought under the law soon.
He said the video of Pallavi's Sahinuddin murder was being propagated as Noakhali's Jatan Saha. Those involved will be found out soon. They have to give an answer to the law enforcement agencies as to why they are doing this.
