Students are still protesting demanding justice for the death of Notre Dame College student Naeem Hasan in a crash by Dhaka South City Corporation garbage truck. Meanwhile, the students have warned those involved in the death of Naeem Hasan to take to the streets again from next Sunday if justice is not done within 48 hours.

On Thursday (November 25), the students of Notre Dame College marched from the front of the college to Motijheel and blocked the Zero Point junction in Gulistan. Students of Vikarunnisa Noon School and College, Wills Little Flower School and College and Motijheel Government Boys' High School also marched in solidarity with the students of Notre Dame College.

At this time the students had ‘how many liters of blood would it take to write a road law?’, ‘No understanding’, ‘why is the country drowning in poison? There are posters and placards with the words 'We want justice', 'The wheel of the vehicle will not turn'

Meanwhile, the Dhaka South City Corporation has formed a three-member investigation committee into the untimely death of Notre Dame College student Naeem Hasan.

Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said no injustice will be tolerated. We have already started taking action from Dhaka South City Corporation. We have set up a committee of inquiry and we have already identified them. We will also take departmental action against them and the institutional measures that are there. We want justice to be done and the maximum punishment to be meted out.

Notre Dame College student Naeem Hasan was killed on Wednesday (November 24) at around 12 noon when he was hit by a DSCC garbage truck on his way back from college. The student was killed when he was hit by the truck while crossing the road. After that the students blocked the road demanding justice and protested in different places.
