An emergency meeting of the Corona Committee has been held in Brahmanbaria for fear of spreading terrible Omicron. The meeting decided to hoist red flags and keep home quarantine at the homes of seven people of Brahmanbaria who came from South Africa earlier this week.

According to meeting sources, in the last few days, 1 resident of Bancharampur of Brahmanbaria district, 3 residents of Kasba, 1 resident of Nabinagar and 2 residents of Sadar upazila have come to the country from South Africa. A quick search should be carried out for them and a red flag should be hoisted in front of the house with home quarantine confirmation. At the meeting it was decided to increase the corona vaccination quickly. Two lakh registered people were informed to take steps to ensure speedy vaccination.
