Indian Foreign Secretary Harshvardhan Sringla is coming to Dhaka on a two-day visit on December 7.

President of India Ramnath Kovind is coming to Dhaka on a three-day visit on December 15 to mark the birth centenary of Bangabandhu, the golden jubilee of independence and the 50th anniversary of bilateral relations.

It is learned that Harshvardhan is coming to Dhaka to see the preparations for the Indian President’s visit. In March this year, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Dhaka.

In Dhaka, the President of India will take part in the Savar National Memorial, Bangabandhu Memorial Museum, Victory Day Parade and functions at South Plaza of the Jatiyo Sangsad.

He will pay courtesy calls on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen. In addition, President Abdul Hamid will host a banquet in honor of the President of India.

This is the first time that any President of India will take part in our national parade. At the same time, former King of Bhutan Jigme Sing Wangchuck will visit Dhaka.
