Severe Cyclone Remal has moved northwards crossing the coast and is currently located near Koira, Khulna. The cyclonic storm will move further northward and gradually increase rainfall and weaken to a cyclonic form in the next 3 to 2 hours.
Monday (May 27) meteorologist Dr. Muhammad Abul Kalam Mallik of gave this information in a special Weathet bulletine -18.
He said, within 64 kilometers of the center of the strong cyclone, the maximum continuous speed of the wind is 90 kilometers per hour which increases up to 120 km in the form of gusts or stormy winds.
