The first task of the interim government will be to gain the trust of the people, said Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
He said this at a press conference at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday (August 8).
Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, Bangladesh has started a new victory day with a new victory. We have to move on. Kudos to those who did it, they (coordinators) saved the country. They helped reborn the country.

Dr. Yunus said, if you trust me, I want to say that no one can be attacked. Bangladesh has gained independence for the second time by the hands of students, we have to protect this freedom.
Stating that violence and chaos are the biggest enemies of the country's progress, he said, we have to protect every brother and sister. People will not be afraid of the government, their chests will swell that the government will help us.
