Hasnat Abdullah, one of the coordinators of the movement, has called for a protest at Dhaka University (DU) demanding the trial of Sheikh Hasina for attacking students in various ways during the anti-discrimination student movement.
He made this call through a status on his Facebook profile on Monday (August 12).
In his Facebook status, he wrote, "Student politics of occupying the campus is prohibited and there will be a protest procession at Raju Sculptor of Dhaka University in the afternoon to demand the trial of murderer Hasina."
Besides, through another Facebook post, he announced that those who were injured in the uprising and admitted to the government hospital will not have to pay any medical expenses.
Besides, he also said that the medical expenses of those who are admitted in private hospitals will be collected from the health ministry as soon as possible.
