'July Protest' app has been launched to store the information of the student movement

A website and mobile app 'July Protest' has been created to store important information including videos related to student movement and revolution in the months of July and August. It is developed by Project Tomorrow Software Limited.

Important videos, news, pictures, graffiti and events of the movement can be found in this app. Besides, common people can also upload their collected pictures, videos, and graffiti on this platform.

The website and mobile app were inaugurated in a ceremony at the auditorium of Dhaka Reporters Unity on Wednesday (October 16). Project Tomorrow Software Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shariful Alam highlighted the various aspects of the app.

It was informed in the press conference that the app is open for everyone. Important videos, news, photos, graffiti and events related to the July and August Revolution can be viewed from this app in chronological order. Anyone can upload images, videos, graffiti etc. from the collection to the app. In the initial stages, the major media outlets, YouTube and Facebook were used as sources of information.

Shariful Alam, CEO of Project Tomorrow, said, "We want to keep the July Revolution, a mass uprising soaked in the blood of the students, forever. That is why the mobile app is made for the public. The news of the heyday of the movement, the number of martyrs, videos, revolutionary pictures and countless graffiti painted by the youth all over the city with the hope of building a new country after the victory have been collected.

It was informed in the press conference that the mobile app is currently available on the Google Play Store. It will also be available on the Apple Store soon.
