The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DB) has arrested Serniabat Moinuddin Abdullah, cousin of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and son of former MP Abul Hasanat Abdullah.
This information was confirmed on Saturday (October 26) morning by the Deputy Police Commissioner (DC) of the Media and Public Relations Department of the DMP Muhammad Talebur Rahman.
Earlier, he was arrested from Gulshan-2 in the capital at 3:30 am on Friday (October 25). There are cases against him under various sections of the Penal Code, including the Explosive Substances Act, in Barishal.
Deputy Police Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Talebur Rahman said that the DB has arrested Moinuddin Abdullah, son of Sheikh family member Hasanat Abdullah, from Gulshan-2.
