Commercial, Textile and Jute Adviser Sheikh Bashiruddin has commented that he is trying to keep the prices of daily necessities bearable with a focus on Ramadan.

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the education allowance distribution ceremony for the children of deceased members of DRU at the CRAB Auditorium on Saturday (November 23) morning.

He said, I am trying to fulfill the responsibility entrusted on me with professionalism and sincerity. I can make your life a little easier. I know you are in trouble. I will not deny it. I would also like to say that with the cooperation of all of you, the prices of sugar, onion and oil are decreasing a little. We are trying to make the market tolerant with a focus on Ramadan. I seek your cooperation to keep demand and supply in proportion.

Commenting on the development of a terrorist civilization in our country in the last 15 years, the Commerce adviser said, "We had a state but the society was impossibly divided. Our society was scared. Today, terrorism is everywhere. It is everywhere from banks to journalism. The khatib of our national mosque has fled. The purpose of the current government that has been formed based on the student movement from that situation is how to transform it into a dignified society."

Addressing the journalists, the adviser to the interim government said that journalists have a huge role in creating the foundation of that dignity. Presenting news honestly, not representing a particular group. Representing is truly human.

Sheikh Bashiruddin said, "There is no monopoly in acquiring knowledge. Allah has made this matter equal for everyone. If we work hard, we will be able to acquire knowledge. Do not be stingy in acquiring knowledge."

He said, "When we use phones, just as many software of old models are no longer relevant with the arrival of new phones, acquiring knowledge is a continuous process. I would especially request the students not to be stingy in acquiring knowledge. Keep trying. Practice true professionalism in professional life." The scholarship program was presided over by Dhaka Reporters Unity President Shukkur Ali Shuvo. General Secretary Mohiuddin delivered the welcome speech.
