Supreme Court Lawyer Barrister Sayedul Haque Sumon has been sued for making derogatory remarks against the Hindu community in a Facebook post.
Gautam Kumar Edbar filed the case at the court of Cyber Crime Tribunal Judge Md Jaglul Hossain on Monday.
According to the allegations brought in the case, Barrister Syed Sayedul Haque Suman made disparaging comments against the Hindu community in a Facebook post on July 19.
His comments not only damaged the image of Hindu society but also hurt the religious sentiments of many. Such remarks can also provoke violence, disrupting the law and order situation in the country.
