There was light rain in some places of the country including the capital. Cool air also blew in some places.
Meteorological Department on Monday (Feb.24) forecasted that rain or thundershowers may occur in different parts of the country in the next 74 hours commencing at 9 am today.
Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Sylhet, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions and the regions of Jashore and Kushtia, said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Weatherman Ruhul Quddus told barta24.com that it may rain lightly in next three days. During this time gusty winds might blow in some parts of the country.
As an extended outlook for the next 48 hours, the bulletin predicted that the rainfall and thundershower activity may increase.
Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, it added.
Light fog may occur at some places over the country during early morning tomorrow.
However, night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.
