We want to give some financial support before Eid to those who have become unemployed due to this virus, so that food security is ensured. She added that one should always use a mask to protect oneself and others. I have instructed the shops to be open and open so that they can shop during the month of Ramadan. Arrangements have been made to keep the economy afloat by keeping small scale industries in each district and keeping the people safe.
Earlier, Sheikh Hasina exchanged views with 56 districts of Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Barisal and Mymensingh divisions in a six-phase separate video conference on the coronavirus situation.
The first corona patient was detected on last March 8 in the country. So far, 177 people have died and 9,455 have been infected with the virus.
