Jatiya Party co-chairman Mujibul Haque Chunnu has been made the party's new secretary general.
The post of Secretary General of Japan became vacant with the death of Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu.
Jatiya Party Additional Secretary General and Presidium Member Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan confirmed the matter to barta24.com.
On Saturday (October 9), party chairman GM Quader announced the name of Mujibul Haque Chunnu as the party's secretary general.
It may be mentioned that the Secretary General of of the party Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu died on October 2 while undergoing treatment after he was infeted with Covid-19 at a private hospital in the capital.
