The high-speed internet services have been unavailable on mobile phones, according to reports from users across different districts in the country.
According to operator sources, 3G and 4G internet services have been off since this morning.
Nowroz Zaman of Dhaka Cantonment area of the capital told Barta24.com that the wire of the broadband line of the house was broken last night.
He added: “I have been working on mobile internet since last night. But I have not been able to connect since this morning but my urgent work was in the morning.”
“Technical error may have resulted in the problem. Maybe some unexpected situation arose due to which this problem could not be avoided. But I think this problem won't last very long,” Telecom and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar told media.
“Measures have been taken to fix the internet services on mobile phones,” he added.
