Helal Uddin said, "They have seen whether we are able to provide treatment to the people injured in the uprising according to international protocols, whether we have been able to start treatment on time." They are very satisfied with this. Another thing is whether our hospitals have equipment capacity limitations, they have seen. We have some deficiencies in this area.

He said, we want to take the cooperation that started on this treatment to a larger scale in our health services. For this we have to sign a memorandum of understanding with them.

The Chinese ambassador agreed to the proposal and asked for a formal proposal after a proposal was made by the Senior Secretary of the Department of Health Services. Helaluddin also said that we will send this official proposal very soon.

He said the Chinese medical team arrived in Dhaka on September 22 at the invitation of the Bangladesh government and started working from September 23. They have visited five hospitals till Wednesday. During this period 160 patients were seen and medical records of 105 patients were examined. This team is basically a medical assessment team.

Shah Md. Helaluddin said, among 105 patients, some patients are more injured. Doctors from China have given some advice about these patients. They will quickly send a thorough assessment in consultation with their seniors. 2-3 of them are in ICU. There are some nerve injury patients.

The Additional Secretary of the Health Services Department said that 15 people who are seriously injured in the movement will be sent out of the country for treatment if necessary. Our advisers and Senior Secretaries are very sincere in this regard.

He said that there is no deficiency in the treatment of injured patients. All kinds of assistance will be provided from the government to those who are seriously injured and will need prosthetics.

In response to a question, he said that the names of 708 people killed and about 25 thousand injured have been found so far in the July incident. The final list will take more time. Lists are being collected from all over the country.
