He said that the lawyer had applied to bring forward the date of hearing of the case, presentation of documents and bail hearing. Since there was no lawyer from the Chattogram Bar with him. The accused did not have a power of attorney and written permission from the filing lawyer. Therefore, the court rejected his application as not maintainable.

After the hearing, the plaintiff's lawyer, Advocate Kafil Uddin, told reporters in the court premises that the Supreme Court lawyer told the court to bring forward the date of Chinmoy's case and that he would present the documents. We said that he has no legal right to file such an application. Because he does not have a power of attorney and he has not been given any power of attorney by the person who filed this case.

He said that in order to hold a hearing or present documents, a power of attorney from a lawyer of the Chattogram Bar must be given or an engaged lawyer must be told that he has given power to the person who came from Dhaka. Therefore, the court rejected it.

On the spot, it was seen at 11 am that security was increased in the court premises after the news of a lawyer coming from Dhaka on behalf of Chinmoy Krishna Das. Since morning, the presence of law enforcement agencies in the surrounding areas, starting from the entrance of the court, was higher than on other days.

On October 31, a sedition case was filed against Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari and 19 others at the city's Kotwali Police Station. In this case, the Detective Branch (DB) picked up ISKCON leader Chinmoy Krishna Brahmachari, who was expelled from Shahjalal Airport on his way back to Chattogram on November 25. The next day, he was handed over to the Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP). On that day, he was produced in court after being arrested in a sedition case filed at the Kotwali Police Station, but the court rejected his bail. Later, when the bail hearing was held again on December 3, the Chattogram Metropolitan Sessions Judge adjourned the hearing to January 2 as Chinmoy Krishna did not have a lawyer on his behalf
