Two buses were set on fire in Agargaon of Sherbangla Nagar police station and Sayedabad area of Jatrabari police station in the capital.
The officials of the control room of the fire service confirmed the matter at 11:20 pm on Saturday (December 2).
Fire Service Control Room Duty Officer Rakibul Hasan said miscreants set fire to an Asmani Paribahan bus behind Syedabad Karati Tola School of Jatrabari Police Station around 10:30 pm. Locals brought it under control before the fire service vehicle left.
Meanwhile, miscreants set fire to Bhuiyan transport plying on Mohammadpur to Uttara route in Agargaon area of Sher Bangla Nagar police station around 11 pm. Two units of Mohammadpur fire station of fire service brought the fire under control.
No casualties have been reported in the two incidents yet.
