Dr. Tawfiq-e-Ilahi Chowdhury Bir Bikram, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's adviser for Power and Energy, has been arrested.
A team of DB arrested him from the Gulshan area of the capital on Tuesday (September 10).
DB Additional Commissioner Rezaul Karim Mallik confirmed that a team of DB arrested him at 10:30 pm on Tuesday.
Dr. Taufiq-e-Ilahi Chowdhury is currently in the DB office. The police officer also said that the legal process is ongoing against him.
