Former DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia was arrested by RAB.
He was arrested around 11 pm from under the Mahakhali flyover in the capital.
This information was confirmed at around 11:30 pm on Wednesday by the Director of RAB Law and its branch Lt. Col. Munim Ferdous.
A case was filed against 13 current and former police officers including the then police commissioner of DMP Asaduzzaman Mia on the charge of 'killing Khilgaon Thana Chattra Dal general secretary in 2015 Md. Nuruzzaman Johnny in the name of crossfire' in police custody. The case was filed at Khilgaon police station of DMP last Tuesday (September 3). Johnny's father Yakub Ali filed this case.
