The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has given a glimpse of stormy winds and thundershowers in 17 districts of the country including Dhaka. The agency has also asked the river ports of these regions to display warning signals.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Wednesday (October 2) gave this information in the forecast of the country's internal river ports until 9:00 am on Thursday (October 3).
According to the Met office notification, by 9 am on Thursday (October 3) over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Pabna, Bogura, Tangail, Mymensingh, Faridpur, Jashore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram , Cox's Bazar and Sylhet areas. 45-60 kmph from South/South-East direction. Rain/Thundershower with gusty/gusty winds at times.
Besides, the river ports of these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1 in the notification.
