Lalmonirhat: The government has transferred Lalmonirhat District Administration Executive Magistrate Tapashi Tabassum Urmi as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Ministry of Public Administration for posting controversial posts on Facebook about Chif Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
Deputy Commissioner HM Rakib Haider confirmed the matter on Sunday (October 6) night.
He said that the instructions have not yet been received. Earlier on Sunday evening, this information was known in a notification signed by Nilufa Yasmin, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration.
Earlier Executive Magistrate Tapashi Tabassum Urmi wrote on Facebook, “The Chief Adviser of the constitutionally baseless Interim government said the reset button has been pushed. The past is erased. He deleted all the past history of the country by clicking the reset button. So easy! The countdown has begun for you, sir.”
Later, when asked about the status, Urmi said on the phone, "I have posted, it is enough." Only me did, may be due to various reasons. Later she said, I do not want to comment on this matter.
Meanwhile, it was seen that Tapashi Tabassum Urmi’s Facebook post and gave several statuses on the side of the ousted government in the mass uprising of the students. Also, she has given several statuses with a strong stand for Awami League.
Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner HM Raqib Haider said that she has been transferred to the Public Administration Ministry and has already made her (OSD) in this incident. The Ministry will take a decision on that.
