Sarjis Alam, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, commented that the student community will decide what action needs to be taken against President Md. Sahabuddin.

He said this on Monday (October 21) at the round table discussion of Islamic Movement Bangladesh on state reform.

Sarjis Alam said that if people like the president say that he did not keep the documents of Sheikh Hasina's resignation letter, then the students will decide what action needs to be taken against him.

Sarjis, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, said that due to the lack of unity after August 5, we could not form an interim government in a proper process. In that sense, we could not form a revolutionary government or a national government. That's why people like Chuppu are still sitting in positions like the president. People like him are saying today that he has not seen Sheikh Hasina's re-sign paper. How dare he say this?

"If he doesn't see Sheikh Hasina's resignation paper, then what should be done against him, what measures should be taken, where his place should be will be determined by the student society of Bangladesh."

He also said that we would like to make it clear to those who are pretending not to see many things, that many people from various offices including the High Court, Secretariat were thinking about many new things. Bangladesh will have a blackout. We believe and make it clear that there may be small differences or differences between us but if the interests of the whole country come to the fore, then my brothers who are crawling in the hospital, have lost their hands, lost the light of their eyes are ready to come down to the streets to give their lives again. So I am warning, let's say Cumilla, Chattogram or Gulistan of Dhaka, if anyone tries to rehabilitate those murderers from today, then the students will take to the streets unitedly against them.

Sarjis Alam said, some impersonal and conscienceless people are now talking about democratic politics. Where was the democratic politics of the people of Bangladesh when they were disenfranchised for the past 16 years? The people of Bangladesh could not vote in the last three elections. Every day there were plans to destroy the political parties of Bangladesh, when thousands of crores of money had been looted from Bangladesh. Awami League’s land minister bought 360 houses in , London even if every bone of his body is kept as a grave in every house, 360 houses are not needed after his death. Where were those impersonal spineless people when people were robbed of thousands of crores of money, which exceeded even the exploitation of West Pakistan.

He said, the fascist system has not moved yet. Various agencies and cabal circles are trying to create an unstable situation in the country. They must be resisted. If necessary, we will take to the streets again.
