Later, the agitating students took a few rounds to shout slogans inside the campus. At one point, they came out of the campus and after the street demonstration of Naem, they took a stand on the road in front of Eden College.

Students were seen protesting around 1 am. Later, the procession of students went to Palashi residential area via Azimpur bus stand in front of Eden College.

Students complained that they are paying the price of unplanned enrollment. Various problems are being created in educational life and administrative activities. Still in many cases one has to suffer harassment to get administrative infrastructure and services. There is also a long process in publishing the exam results, session jams.

Abdur Rahman, a student of zoology department of Dhaka College, said that the students have been repeatedly expressing their dissatisfaction with the long process of examination and results, jamming of sessions and lack of quality education programs. Various academic activities also suffer. The DU administration could not appoint enough teachers and staff to manage the academic activities of such a large number of students. As a result, there is a shortage of quality education.

He also said that there is a lack of coordination between the seven colleges and DU. Regular examination schedule, classes and result-related information are not properly communicated to the students. Hence separate administrative structures need to be created for the seven colleges. # Edited by MS/0741 Hours/21.10.24
