Former Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain has been arrested by the Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
He was arrested from the Bashundhara residential area of the capital on Sunday (October 26).
DMP's Media and Public Relations Department Deputy Police Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed this information.
However, it was not immediately known in which case he was arrested.
In 2017, Engineer Mosharraf Hossain has been charged with multiple cases in Chattogram over the attack on BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's motorcade in Cox's Bazar and the attack on BNP Dhaka Metropolitan South member Ishraq Hossain's motorcade.
