BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said transfer of six government officials including deputy secretary over daily Protham Alo's senior journalist Rozina Islam's assault is not a solution.
He said, "Transfer is not a solution. They should be dismissed from their jobs immediately after the incident. Legal action should be taken against them and they should be sent to jail. They (health ministry officials) created the incident as journalists can't publish their corruption news."
Mirza Fakhrul Islam said this at a view-exchange meeting at Thakurgaon district BNP office on Wednesday (May 19).
He said the present government is not a political government. This government is totally bureaucratic government. Bureaucrats make state policies and run the country.
Mirza Fakhrul also said the incumbent government is a fascist government which depends on bureaucrats and the law-enforcers.
