Israeli airstrikes in Gaza and Lebanon kill hundreds
Over 100 people have been killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza and Lebanon in the past 24 hours.
On Friday (November 8), Al Jazeera reported that more than 50 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza. Of these, 42 were killed in the besieged northern part of Gaza.
The Gaza Health Ministry said that the total death toll in the Israeli attack in Gaza since October last year has reached 43,469. More than 100,000 people have been injured during this time.
The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health said that 53 people have been killed and 161 injured in Israeli attacks across the country in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, Netanyahu's forces have continued to attack various important installations across Lebanon. In addition to important installations and mosques, they are also carrying out one after another attack on historical sites.
On Wednesday local time, Israel attacked a historical site from the Roman Empire in Baalbek, known as the archaeological city of Lebanon. The entire area was severely damaged. One historical site was destroyed.
A video released on Thursday showed the historic Al-Manshia building being demolished. Authorities said the damaged building belonged to the Ottoman Empire. They said that while the damage to the exterior was known, the extent of the damage inside the building would be known after an investigation.
The Israeli army has been targeting this historic city for the past few weeks. More than 3,000 Lebanese citizens have now lost their lives in the Lebanon-Israel war that has been going on for more than a year.
