Israeli attack on hospital in Gaza, 50 killed including five doctors
The Israeli army carried out a brutal attack on Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza. At least 50 people, including five doctors, were killed in the incident.
This information was reported in a report by Qatar-based news outlet Al-Jazeera on Saturday (December 28).
The report quoted the Gaza Health Ministry as saying that the Israeli airstrike cut off communication with the hospital. Fires have spread to several departments of the hospital. At least 50 people, including five medical staff, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a hospital building. Several others were injured.
Meanwhile, the Civil Defense reported that at least 15 people were killed in an Israeli attack on Sheikh Radwan in Gaza City.
The head of the United Nations World Health Organization (WHO) was stationed at Sanaa Airport in Yemen when Israeli warplanes bombed the country. At least six people were killed.
The Israeli Defense Ministry's Rehabilitation Department said that 13,500 Israeli military officers and members have been injured so far in the Gaza-Israel conflict. Of these, 1,500 have been injured twice. 37 percent of the injured soldiers suffer from limb injuries, most of them bone injuries. In addition, about 5,200 suffer from mental illnesses.
The Israeli military continues its brutal attack on Gaza. Since Hamas' unprecedented cross-border attack on October 7, Israel has been carrying out continuous air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip. Thousands of buildings, including hospitals, schools, refugee camps, mosques, and churches, have been damaged or destroyed in the Israeli attack.
85 percent of Palestinians have been displaced by the Israeli attack. And amid severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine, all of Gaza is now food insecure.
It is worth noting that at least 45,436 people have been killed in the Israeli military's attacks on Gaza so far. Another 108,038 people have been injured.
On the other hand, 1,139 people have been killed in Hamas attacks on Israel. More than 200 Israeli citizens are in captivity.
