CID has arrested 17 people including former driver of PSC chairman Syed Abed Ali Jeeban and his son Syed Sohanur Rahman Siam on allegations of leaking questions of 30 PSC recruitment exams in the last 12 years including BCS exam.
In an interview with the media, Abed Ali was asked, how much money did he earn from leaking question papers? In response, Abed Ali said, "All the money I earned in leakage, I spent it all in the path of Allah."

Syed Abed Ali's village house is in Dasar upazila of Madaripur district. Talking to common people, the news of his huge wealth is known. Information about multiple houses, cattle farms and assets in Dhaka and villages has been found through his personal social media though he claimed to have made wealth through business.
Abed Ali campaigned for the post of Chairman in the last Upazila Parishad elections. Abed Ali used to walk regularly with the rich and influential people of the society. He used to meet with the officials of the administration and those pictures have gone viral through social media.
Netizens are showing the information about his huge wealth on social media after the information about his involvement with the question leak came to light. Son Chhatra League leader, studied abroad, then in an expensive private university in the country. Information is also coming forward that he has two multi-storied buildings in Dhaka, a luxurious house in Madaripur.
It has been found that Syed Abed Ali moved to the capital in search of livelihood at the age of eight. At first he worked as a coolie there. One time he suffered by sleeping on the sidewalk. After that he learned to drive and got a job in PSC. He did not have to look back after that. He acquired huge wealth and power.
