The very exam of PSC for which Abed Ali was fired for question leak
Full beard, cap on head Syed Abed Ali, a former driver of the Public Service Commission (PSC), who is known as a pious person in the area, is being criticized across the country.
On Sunday (July 7) an investigative report was published on one of the country's private television channels under the title 'Leak of important 30 exam papers including BCS Pre-Written' which caused a stir.
According to PSC sources, Syed Abed Ali was dismissed from PSC service in 2014 after allegations of non-cadre question paper leak were proved.
According to sources, clever Syed Abed Ali was sacked after failing the written exam for the post of 'Assistant Maintenance Engineer' of the non-cadre Ministry of Information and Communication Technology held on April 22, 2014.
Syed Abed Ali was then caught red-handed with answers to related questions illegally supplied from outside the hall by an examinee. In view of that incident, a case was filed under the appropriate law. There is evidence that Syed Abed Ali was actively involved in the investigation of that case. In view of this, he was dismissed from the job. According to the PSC report, Syed Abed Ali is notorious for many illegal activities and is involved in habitual misdeeds.
Meanwhile, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested 17 people, including former PSC driver Syed Abed Ali, in connection with the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) question leak.
Among those arrested are PSC deputy director Md. Abu Jafar and Md. Jahangir Alam, Assistant Director Alamgir Kabir, Office Assistant Khalilur Rahman and Office Assistant (Despatch) Sajedul Islam.
Apart from this, there is an ex-army member Noman Siddiqui, ex-student of DU and Chhatra League politician and currently Mirpur businessman Abu Solaiman Md. Sohel, auditor Priyanath Roy, businessman Zahidul Islam, security guard of Narayanganj passport office, Shahadat Hossain, working in Dhaka's immigration and passport office. Mamunur Rashid, Medical Technician of Shaheed Suhrawardy Hospital Niamun Hasan, businessman brothers Sakhawat Hossain and Sayem Hossain and unemployed youth Liton Sarkar.
Syed Abed Ali, the driver of the former chairman of the Public Service Commission (PSC), came to the discussion for his involvement in the BCS question leak incident. At the same time, his son Syed Sohanur Rahman Siam came to the discussion.

Looking at the photos of their lives and various programs on Facebook, it is difficult to imagine that he was the driver of the former chairman of PSC. It is now clear to everyone how a mere driver became the owner of so much wealth and money.
It is learned that the driver of the former PSC chairman owns a duplex house and a three-star hotel in Kuakata. In a post on his Facebook profile about this hotel, he wrote, 'I laid the foundation stone of our new hotel today. Hotel San Marina, Kuakata. A stay for yourself on the banks of Samudrakanya for life.'
His son Syed Sohanur Rahman Siam was the founding vice-president of Dasar Upazila Committee of Chhatra League. Also, he is currently the Secretary for Relief and Disaster Management of Dhaka North unit Chhatra League. He is seen involved in various social service activities on Facebook. It is also seen that he is living a luxurious life.
