Singer Moni Kishore's dead body recovered from Rampura house

The dead body of Moni Kishore, the singer of the popular 90s song 'Ki Sile amar bolo na tumi..', has been recovered from his Rampura residence in the capital. His body was recovered from his home on Saturday (October 19). Initially, the police believe that he died 4 to 5 days ago.

Rampura police station OC Mohammad Ataur Rahman Akand said, he used to live alone at home. He has not left the house for the past few days. He is believed to have died in his sleep. No injury marks on the body. The body has been taken to Dhaka Medical for autopsy. The body was recovered by breaking the door.

Moni Kishore has sung more than five hundred songs. Although he is a listed artist of radio and TV, he has sung few songs. He didn't sing much in the movie either. Basically, he worked much in audio. Among his popular songs are 'Ki hilte amar', 'Sey doki chhok kyar tomar', 'Tumi only amarai hai', 'Mukhe bollo pohom', 'Ami more gele jani tumi' etc. His most popular song 'Ki Sile Amar' was composed by him and written by him.

About 20 songs have been written and composed by Moni Kishore. Incidentally, Moni Kishore is his dress name. Real name Moni Mandal. As he was a fan of Kishore Kumar, he added 'Kishore' to his name.
