If we don’t remain united, fascists will be active: Selim Uddin
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive council member and Dhaka City North unit’s Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin called upon everyone irrespective of parties and opinions to stay united to protest the sovereignty and independence of the country.
He yesterday made the remarks as the chief guest while addressing a workers’ rally in the capital’s Uttara. Uttara thana north of Jamaat Dhaka City North unit arranged the rally. Thana Ameer Mahfuzur Rahman presided over the rally while secretary Hamidul Islam conducted it. Central Mojlish-e-Shura member and Jamaat Dhaka City North unit’s assistant secretary Nazim Uddin Mollah, Dr Fakharuddin Manik, Mahfuzur Rahman spoke as the special guests.
Allah has sent us in this earth as a test. The life of this earth is temporary and the life of Hereafter is eternal, Selim Uddin stated.
Selim Uddin urged everyone to work together under the banner of Jamaat.
Jamaat wants to build a discrimination-free, humanitarian and Islamic welfare state based on justice, he further stated.
Mahbubul Haque, Jamaat Uttara thana west unit’s Ameer Mazharul Islam, Turag thana south unit’s Ameer Mabubur Rahman, Turag thana Moddha unit’s Ameer Gazi Monir Hossain, nayeb-e-Ameer Kamrul Hasan, Uttara thana west unit’s secretary Firoz Alam, Turag thana south unit’s secretary Abu Bakar Siddique among others spoke in the rally.
