Awami fascism is being rehabilitated on the blood of students: Hasnat Abdullah
Dhaka: Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, has commented that Awami fascism is being rehabilitated on the blood of students through the appointment of advisers.
He made this comment during a human chain protesting the insult to the blood of martyrs by giving fascist allies a place in the Advisory Council formed with the spirit of revolution in front of the Raju Sculpture of Dhaka University on Monday (November 11) afternoon.
Hasnat Abdullah said that students will not take to the streets again and again to provide security to the interim government led by Dr. Muhammad Yunus. Hasnat Abdullah questioned the contribution of the new advisers to the country. He also questioned their role in the last 15 years.
Abdul Kader, coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, said, "We said in order to achieve one point of demand, we want a fascism-free Bengal. Fascism must be eradicated from this Bengal." As well as their allies, we will be forced to take to the streets again to free fascism.
At the protest rally, students said how those who did not support the July-August movement got a place in the interim government. These people were at Ganabhaban in July-August to support the fascist Sheikh Hasina.
The students demanded that those who were not with the 24th movement will not be able to remain in the government. No allies of the Awami League will be able to remain in this government.
The students alleged that the newly sworn-in businessman Sheikh Bashir Uddin and cultural figure Mustafa Sarwar Farooqui of the interim government should be removed immediately.
