A clash and chase-counter chase occurred between students of Dhaka College and City College in the capital's Science Lab area. This stopped traffic in the capital's Science Lab area. Additional police and the army have been deployed at the scene.

The clash began after 3 pm on Wednesday (November 20).

Eyewitnesses told the media that Dhaka College students vandalized a bus in the Science Lab area. Immediately after this, City College students reacted and clashed with them.

After receiving the news, the police reached the spot and are trying to control the situation, but tension still persists.

In order to create a generation of entrepreneurs in the country, the country's education system must be such that creativity is developed, said Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus.

Stating that people are born entrepreneurs, he said, and our education system produces job seekers. This is a flawed education system.

The Chief Adviser made this comment while visiting the Education Ministry's office at the Secretariat in the capital on Wednesday (November 20).

He said, our education system should be reformed in such a way that it can develop a generation as entrepreneurs. We need an education system that will help students become creative people. The potential for creativity in our youth must be fulfilled.

Professor Muhammad Yunus said, Bangladesh should not create an education system where only the emphasis is on exam marks. He said, everyone should realize that the exam marks are not everything.

The Chief Adviser called for reducing the generation gap in Bangladeshi society, saying, "We must understand the language of the new generation, their aspirations and their thought processes." Professor Yunus said, "We must understand the language and thought processes of the youth. We need to know how the older generation can share their experiences with the younger generation." He said, "The gap between the young and the older generation is increasing, which will create problems. We must reduce the gap in thought and perception between the two generations." He also stressed the need to include family values in our national curriculum. Education Adviser Dr. Wahiduddin Mahmud and Education Secretary Siddique Jobayer were present at the Chief Adviser's meeting with senior officials of the Ministry of Education.

Shafiqul Alam, the press secretary to the chief adviser, said that every press conference of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be monitored, and the reform work will be carried out by keeping in mind what happened in the press conference, who played what role, then it will be beneficial.

He said that the voice will not be taken away like the fascists. Every fact will be discussed, but no one’s freedom of work will be curtailed.

Shafiqul Alam said these things at a discussion titled ‘Role of the media in the July genocide: Accountability and reform proposals’ at the National Press Club on Wednesday (November 20).

The press secretary to the chief adviser said that for the last 15 years, fascists have tried to take away our voice. We should not create such an environment by tagging someone Shibir, tagging someone BNP. We should not be fascist in our attitude. We should not take away the voice of another. We should not take away the voice of those who criticize. We welcome every voice. Let every voice continue in Bangladesh.

He said, we should know who made slanderous remarks about those who have disappeared. We will find out the killings by Hefazat in Shapla Chattar according to international standards. Sheikh Hasina held many press conferences from 2009 to 2024. There is a description of each one, who did what. We should keep a record of who had what role.

Shafiqul Alam said, international journalist rights groups have given many statements with press accreditation cards. We welcome their statements. But let them know what kind of terrible journalism has been done in the last 15 years.

He said, the journalism that took place from July 1 to August 5, the way students were called terrorists on TV. Who said it should be known. We will invite international journalist rights groups; you come and investigate what kind of journalism has taken place. See where fascist statements have been made.

He further said, we demand serious research on every issue. If we do research, our responsibility to the next generation will be fulfilled. We will be able to show them what events have happened.

The Advisory Council of the interim government led by Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has approved the draft of the International Crimes Tribunal Amendment Ordinance. This will allow the International Crimes Tribunal to recommend action against political parties on charges of crimes against humanity.

The draft was approved at a meeting of the Advisory Council chaired by the Chief Adviser at the Secretariat on Wednesday (November 20) afternoon. Almost all the advisers participated in this meeting, the first held at the Secretariat after the formation of the interim government.

It is learned that the Advisory Council has approved the draft of the International Crimes Tribunal Amendment Ordinance raised in the meeting with the proposal that the International Crimes Tribunal will be able to recommend the trial of political parties on charges of genocide.

After the formation of the interim government, regular meetings of the Advisory Council were held at the Chief Adviser's residence Jamuna and the Chief Adviser's office, but this was the first time that the meeting was held at the Advisory Council conference room at the Bangladesh Secretariat, the center of administration.
