They said that the ministry had sent a letter to all diplomatic missions in Dhaka on Sunday evening inviting them to the briefing. Any diplomat, not just the Ambassador, High Commissioner, Charge d'Affaires or head of mission in Dhaka, can participate in the briefing. However, representatives of international organizations and institutions have not been invited this time.

The government will formally brief diplomats on the issue of religious minorities in a briefing on Monday. The international community will be informed about the allegations raised against ISKCON priest Chinmoy Krishna Das.

It is worth noting that the Foreign Affairs Adviser said that misinformation is being spread in the Indian and international media about the persecution of minorities. Responsible people in the government, including the Foreign Affairs Adviser, have been claiming that these reports are untrue.

The government's statement will be supported by documentary evidence in the briefing to be held on Monday. The allegations raised against Chinmoy Krishna Das will be informed. In addition, the attack on the court premises of Chattogram by Chinmoy’s followers and the killing of lawyer Saiful Islam in the court area will be highlighted. The fact that there was a peaceful protest across the country but no counter-attack took place will also be highlighted.
