Chief Adviser to the interim government Dr. Muhammad Yunus has been in a meeting with religious leaders to discuss national unity.

The meeting with the Chief Adviser began on Thursday (December 5) afternoon at the Foreign Service Academy on Hair Road in the capital.

Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumdar said that the Chief Adviser will meet with religious leaders as part of a dialogue on various ongoing issues in the country.

Earlier, the Chief Adviser held a meeting with the leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement last Tuesday and with the leaders of political parties yesterday (Wednesday). In the meeting, the Chief Adviser called for national unity to prevent any conspiracy against the country.

The Chief Adviser said that those who did not like the mass uprising of the students and the public want to erase this uprising. They are spreading propaganda about Bangladesh.

The Chief Adviser calls on everyone to unite and speak out against this conspiracy.
