Commenting that BNP was the first to allow Rohingyas to come, he said, when BNP was in power, they were the first to allow Rohingyas to come to this country. Have they forgotten the opportunity they gave when they were in power?

He said this in a press briefing at the party office at 23 Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital on Thursday (February 8) at 5 pm.

He said, what our leader has done has been appreciated by the whole world and even the United Nations. Our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina opened the border for humanity in view of the real situation at that time. That is why she is called the mother of humanity.

Quader said, BNP has lost its mind. America, Rishi Sunak said to work together, French President also messaged to work together. Now all their hopes are over. They thought that foreign friends would come to their side. That hope is all but gone. No message has come from across the Atlantic, nor is there any reason to come from our region.

In response to the question that the government could not make any written protest against Myanmar because the government was weak and there was no public opinion, Obaidul Quader said that they are delirious. Their heads are not right. Appreciation from all sides is coming. They expressed determination to work closely with Sheikh Hasina. They said, this is not supposed to happen, how did it happen. There will be many more things they will only look forward to. It will bring tears to your eyes.

In response to the question whether India is having any influence on the ongoing conflict in Myanmar, Obaidul Quader said that it has also affected India. A number of people from Myanmar have also infiltrated through the Indian border. Their border guard has also gone. Not that India is not bothered. India's Security Advisor Ajit Doval also spoke to our Prime Minister. Our foreign minister is in India. He has already held important talks with Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar and Ajit Doval. The issue of Myanmar has gained importance in this discussion.
