Neighbors are not with India due to India's hegemonic attitude: Rizvi
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said that Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Pakistan and Bangladesh are not with India due to its hateful, violent and hateful attitude in establishing dominance in the subcontinent.
He said this as the chief guest at a program to boycott Indian products and encourage the use of domestic products at Gulshan-2 in the capital on Friday (December 6) afternoon.
He said that the tradition of democracy that existed since India's independence is being forgotten, and now they are again trying to establish dominance in the subcontinent by stirring up the dust of communalism and inciting hardline Hindutva activists. Due to your hateful, violent and hateful attitude, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Pakistan and Bangladesh are not with you.
Referring to Bangladesh as a self-sufficient nation, the BNP senior joint secretary general said, this country has achieved independence through the sacrifice of 30 lakh people.
He said, can you keep this country of 18/19 crore people under control by blinding them, intimidating them, spreading false propaganda and disinformation? Never can. You have resorted to spreading propaganda and disinformation.
Referring to the government that was in power before August 5 as a hateful government, this senior BNP leader said, they did not hesitate to kill their own country's children to stay in power. They did not hesitate to make the democratic people of their country disappear forever. They used to kill people on the banks of rivers and canals in their own country. Why was that government so dear to you? Because, with your courage, with your provocation, Sheikh Hasina would have done whatever she wanted in Bangladesh. There would have been no need for votes. The votes that were held during Sheikh Hasina's tenure were without voters.
He said, you think that if you stop onions, the people of Bangladesh will no longer eat onions in their dishes. If you stop garlic, ginger and soybean oil, we will no longer be able to use them in cooking. It is a nightmare that we will deprive them of water, rice, and dishes. You have stopped exporting cows for the last 5/6 years. Now people are also arranging for 1 crore 20 lakh cattle for sacrifice, and are also arranging for whatever is needed throughout the year. A united Bangladesh cannot be suppressed.
