Mainuddin Khan Badal is no more
Jatiyo Sangsad (JS) member from Chattogram -8 constituency and JSD leader Mainuddin Khan Badal has breathed his last on Thursday morning(Nov.7) at a Bengaluru hospital in India. He was 67.
Badal died at Narayna Heart Research Institute and hospital of reputed cardiologist Devi Shetthy at 7 am while he was undergoing treatment.
Nazmul Haque Pradhan, general secretary of a JSD faction has confirmed it to barta24.com.
According to family sources, Mainuddin Khan Badal, a very vocal and popular orator had been under treatment of Cardiologist Devi Setthy since October 18. While under treatment a sudden cardiac failure caused his death.
Maiuddin Khan Badal was the executive president of JSD. Badal was born on February 21 of 1952 in Satoli under Boalkahli of Chattogram. His father was Alhaj Ahmedullah Khan and mother was Jatuma Khatun. His wife is Selina Khan.
He was first elected as JS member in the national election of 9th Jatiyo Sangsad(JS) held on December 29 of 2008. He was elected on JSD ticket. Next he was also elected in the 10th JS. At last, he was elected as JS member in the current 11th parliament.
Badal left behind two sons, one daughter, grand- sons, grand –daughters, innumerable well wishers and friends to mourn his death.
In 1971 he actively took part in the Liberation War.
