The third and last match of the series. Shanto-Miraj match to save respect. There, Bangladesh plunged New Zealand into a record of shame by fielding earlier. The hosts were bundled out for only 98 runs by the pacers. This is the lowest collection by Kiwis in an ODI against Bangladesh.

Pacers have taken ten wickets. Soumya Sarkar, Tanjim Hasan Shakib and Shariful Islam all took three wickets and Mustafizur Rahman took one.

Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto won the toss and decided to field first. Pacers kept the hosts under pressure from the start. Tanjim, who got a chance in the XI after two matches, returned Rachin Ravindra after the team scored 16 runs. Tanjim struck again in the Kiwi camp after the team scored 22 runs.
