Murder of MP Anar: Two Kolkata police officers are coming to Dhaka

A special team of Indian police is coming to Dhaka to investigate and exchange information on the murder of MP Anwarul Azim Anar in West Bengal, India.

Several officials of the police headquarters and DMP's detective (DB) police confirmed that this special team of the Indian police is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on Thursday (May 23).

According to police sources, several sensational facts have come to light regarding the murder of Parliamentarian Anwarul Azim Anar. Citizens of both countries participated in the killings. A special team of Indian police will come to Dhaka to investigate the whole matter. It is initially known that a team of two members will come to Dhaka.

On May 12, MP Anar went to India from Kaliganj in Jhenaidah through Darshana- Gede border in Chuadanga for treatment. He stayed at the house of a friend named Gopal Biswas on Mandalpara Lane of Barahnagar police station in West Bengal. The next day he left the house saying to see the doctor. Since then, Anwarul Azim disappeared mysteriously.

On May 18, five days after he left home, his friend Gopal Biswas filed a GD regarding Anwarul Azim's disappearance at Barahnagar police station. Even then, this three-time Member of Parliament was not found. On Wednesday news spread that Anwarul Azim was murdered in room BU 56 of a multi-storey residential building called Sanjeeba Gardens in Newtown area near Kolkata. Traces of blood were found inside the house. But his body was not found there.

A case has been registered at Sher-e- Bangla Nagar police station in the capital regarding the murder of Anwarul Azim Anar in India. His daughter Mumtarin Ferdous Doreen filed a case on Wednesday evening.
