Sharing that Bangladesh Sanatani Jagran Jote spokesperson Chinmoy Krishna Das was permanently expelled from ISKCON long ago, the organization's Bangladesh General Secretary Charu Chandra Das Brahmachari said that Chinmoy's activities are completely personal, and the organization is not responsible for this.

Charu Chandra Das Brahmachari made these remarks at a press conference organized at ISKCON Swamibag Ashram on Thursday (November 28) afternoon.

Calling on everyone to remain calm, he said that there is an attempt to unfairly blame ISKCON Bangladesh over the death of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif in Chattogram. We want to make it clear that ISKCON Bangladesh has no involvement in such a heinous incident and the ongoing movement. This falsehood has now reached such a level that even issues like road accidents are being portrayed as ISKCON's conspiracy.

The General Secretary of ISKCON said, we have already clarified the matter several times through press conferences and at various levels of the government and administration. But unfortunately, some special circles are deliberately spreading false propaganda against our organization and are raising unreasonable demands like banning ISKCON.

He said, long ago, the promoter Shri Krishna Mandir Principal Leelaraj Gaur Das, member Swatwara Gauranga Das and Chattogram Pundarika Dham Principal Chinmoy Krishna Das were relieved of all organizational activities of ISKCON including their organizational posts/titles for violating organizational discipline and it was mentioned that the activities carried out by them are not the activities of ISKCON.

He also said, on October 3, it was informed through an official statement that Chinmoy Krishna Das (Chandan Kumar Dhar) is not the spokesperson of ISKCON Bangladesh. Therefore, his statement is completely personal. Therefore, ISKCON Bangladesh is in no way responsible for the statements and actions of Leelaraj Gaur Das, Swatwara Gauranga Das and Chinmoy Krishna Das.

ISKCON Bangladesh President Satya Ranjan Baroi said, "I strongly urge the administration to ensure punishment for those involved in the murder of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif in Chattogram. ISKCON has no involvement in the murder of the lawyer."
