US President Joe Biden said he would oppose any attack on Iran's nuclear facilities in response to a missile attack on Israel.

On Wednesday (October 2), reporters asked Biden if Israel wanted to attack Iran's nuclear facilities, would you support it or not? Biden simply replied, 'No'.

A day after Iran launched more than 180 ballistic missiles at Israel on October 1, US President Joe Biden, Israel's main ally, made such a comment.

The country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Iran's missile attack on Israeli territory was a "big mistake". He said that Iran will have to pay a heavy price for this.

Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran did not do the right thing by attacking. They will suffer the consequences. They (Iran) will understand, Netanyahu warned, saying that the rules we have established will remain in force. Whoever attacks us, we will attack them back.

Meanwhile, Iran's military chief of staff, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, warned that any retaliatory action against Tehran would target all Israeli infrastructures.

"If Israel wants to do anything against our sovereignty and territorial integrity, tonight's operation will be several times stronger and their entire infrastructure will be targeted," he said in a televised address on Wednesday (October 2).

He also said that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is ready to launch another missile attack against Israel.
