An average of 30 truckloads of food are being delivered to the territory every day which is not enough for the residents to survive. This amount of relief is just over 6 percent of the daily needs. Israel is depriving them of basic rights, including food. They are obstructing relief efforts.

Dr. Badiul Alam Majumder said, the constitution has been destroyed through various amendments. Especially through the 15th Amendment, the constitution has been corrupted by changing one-third.

Regarding reserved seats, he said, women are reduced to a symbolic status here. At the same time, women are devalued. Therefore, reforms are needed. Arrangements must be made to bring women to power through direct elections. If there are 400 seats, 100 should be allocated for women that too through genuine elections based on merit.

Stating that it is possible to ensure people's participation by establishing people's rule, Badiul Alam said, accountability must be ensured at the grassroots level.

At the meeting, Media Reform Commission chief Kamal Hossain said, "This constitution has not been able to resolve the political crisis in the past. Rather, it has increased the crisis."
