Islamic University (IU) is the first public university of the country after independence. The journey of this highest university in the southwestern region of the country started on November 22, 1979. And after two months, the university is going to enter 45 years. In these 45 years of establishment, 13 Vice-Chancellors have served in the university so far. But the surprising thing is that except for one vice-chancellor, none of the Vice-Chancellors could serve the full term.

Due to various reasons, 12 Vice-Chancellors were forced to resign before the end of their term. Among them, they could not complete their term due to various reasons including the appointment and trading of Vice-Chancellors, various irregularities, corruption, fueling self-interested teachers.
