Former Serbian President Boris Tadic has expressed his interest in helping Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the chief adviser to the interim government.

On Monday (November 18), he expressed this interest when he paid a courtesy call on Dr. Yunus at the office of the chief adviser.

During this meeting, he praised Professor Yunus's leadership and the July-August mass uprising.

Expressing his interest in supporting Bangladesh, former President Tadic said, "I love this country. Let me know if I can help you in any way."

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed geopolitical issues, challenges of the interim government and the history of Serbia.

Former Serbian President Boris Tadic has arrived in Dhaka to attend the Bay of Bengal Conference organized by the Center for Governance Studies.
